چکیده
The association of internal root resorption (IRR) with dens invaginatus is an extremely rare finding, and its incidence may be underestimated, adding to the difficulty endodontic treatment. A 9-year-old boy was admitted complaints swelling pain. Radiological examination revealed closed apex Oehlers type II severe IRR, as well apical third two lateral perforation lesion. Calcium hydroxide applied in regenerative protocol (REP) intracanal medicament. Differently, bleeding achieved by irritating area. However, tooth showed spontaneous pain sensitivity percussion after 2 months. same REP performed, but a triple antibiotic paste used After years, asymptomatic, radiographic decrease cared on previous sites, one openings surface had closed.

Dens invaginatus is an anomaly of the tooth formation of embryonic origin that presents itself in several morphologic types. The complex anatomy of these teeth makes nonsurgical endodontic treatment complex and more so when its apex is immature. The 2 cases reported illustrate the nonsurgical endodontic management of a dens invaginatus type II and type III with an immature apex and periapical l...

Management of internal root resorption is a challenge to the endodontists. If it is left untreated, it may lead to the destruction of the surrounding dental hard tissues. Despite, routine obturation techniques are often employed without considering the best technique to solve this problem. This study presented a case of internal root resorption and apical periodontitis affecting tooth 12 (FDI) ...
متن کاملNonsurgical endodontic treatment of a maxillary lateral incisor with dens invaginatus type II: A case report
Dens invaginatus is a rare developmental anomaly of teeth with complex root canal system morphology. The present case describes a peg shape maxillary lateral incisor with dens invaginatus (Oehlers type II), necrotic pulp, and an associated large periradicular lesion. Nonsurgical endodontic treatment was performed with the aim of removing the blind sac with diamond bur under the use of operating...

Many treatment plans require a dental practitioner to maintain the entire labial cortical plate of bone when removing an anterior maxillary tooth. A tooth with an undermined root secondary to an endodontic perforation or internal (Idiopathic) resorption can present a surgical challenge to the general practitioner. This article describes a new technique for extracting a severely undermined anter...
